London: Boozeless Burlesque | 8th February

Celebrate Galentine’s Day with Boozeless Burlesque! This 90-minute class, led by the brilliant Evangeline, is all about finding your confidence and feeling amazing in your own skin—no drinks needed. Open to all ages, abilities, and body types, the session will guide you through the basics of striptease (no nudity required) and simple choreography, helping you tap into your inner confidence and have some fun along the way. After the class, stick around for a relaxed mixer to meet and chat with like-minded women. It’s the perfect way to celebrate yourself and connect with others in a supportive, empowering space.

When: Saturday 8th February 12pm-2.30pm

Where: New Dance Studio Lift 45 White Lion St, London N1 9PW

What to wear:

  • Gym kit - something you can move in!
  • Optional heels - a pair you can move in without falling over. We’ll be wearing trainers/bare feet for movement and choreo section of the class but striptease in heels is 

What to bring:

  • Water bottle- There is a water fountain you can use to refill
  • Something you can take off for your reveal!!! There will be no nudity in the class so the idea is to wear something over your clothes to take off. Some ideas include: A bra/bikini top, a (non buckle) belt or a tie or zip fastened skirt (ie no buttons unless an easy popper)

What will be provided:

  • Gloves for the glove peel!

The small stuff 

Feeling nervous? Don’t worry! We’ll have mixers to help break the ice, and many attendees come alone. If you want to chat with other attendees beforehand? About Evangeline la Pom

Evangeline la Pom is London’s pocket rocket burlesque performer and teacher.

Evangeline has worked professionally across the country, both as a trained dancer and as a cabaret performer. She has taught multiple difference dance disciplines, ranging from ballet and contemporary, to tap and commercial street for the past 15 years.

Evangeline has now been teaching the beautiful art of burlesque for the past 5 years; from intimate 1:1 sessions helping performers with act development, to mixed classes of 40+ for a fun one off celebration, Evangeline knows that everyone - no matter your age, size, gender, race and ability - can benefit from the bad ass feeling you get from a burlesque class
