London: Galentines book swap mixer | 10th February

We’re teaming up with The London Girls Book Club for a cosy night of connection, conversation, and all things Galentine’s. In celebration of the big day of female friendship, we’re hosting a Galentine’s Book Swap - the perfect feel-good evening to meet new people, chat books, and enjoy a wholesome mid-week hangout.
How it works:
Bring along a book you love - something you’d happily recommend to a friend. Once you arrive, you’ll be able to swap your book with another bookish gal… and keep swapping until you find the one that feels just right. Think of it like the cutest bookish matchmaking ever.
Whether you’re sober, sober-curious, or simply keen to make new friends and talk all things books, this event is the perfect way to celebrate the power of female friendship. Expect warm chats, AF drinks to sip on, and a gorgeous group of gals coming together for a heart-filling Galentine’s evening. 💫📚💕
When: Tuesday 10th February
Time: 7pm-9pm
Where: The Hearth 16 Lonsdale Rd, London NW6 6RD
Ticket Includes:
- A selection of alcohol-free drinks and snacks for the evening
- A proof table filled with new and up-and-coming reads for you to browse and take home.
- Connection cards placed around the room with thoughtful questions to spark conversations about the books you’ve brought and the stories you love.
We’ll have extra books for the bookswap if anyone forgets too!!

Feeling nervous? Don’t worry! We’ll have mixers to help break the ice, and many attendees come alone. If you want to chat with other attendees beforehand? Join our WhatsApp community and local group chat here. Looking to grab a signed Sober Girl Society Handbook? Select this option when you purchase your ticket, and we’ll bring it along to the event.This event will be filmed and photographed.
