Cosy Sober Silent Reading Party! 📚🍂🍯
We’re teaming up with The London Girls Book Club for a special outdoor edition of our cosy, booze-free night of reading and chatting. Whether you’re sober, sober-curious, or just taking a break, this is the perfect chance to unwind with like-minded people, soak up the cosy vibes, and enjoy warming drinks.
When: Wednesday 12th November
Time: 7pm – 9pm
Where: The Exhibit (The Garden Room), 12 Balham Station Rd, London SW12 9SG
What to expect:
- The Garden Room is outside with electrical heaters to keep us snug. We will be outside so please wrap up - scarves, coats, gloves and blankets.
- Grab your hot drink on arrival (included in your ticket). The bar will be open if you fancy any extra booze-free drinks.
- Bring your favourite book (or audiobook if you prefer listening!).
- Settle in for some peaceful reading time and sprints – trust us, you’ll love it.
- Afterwards, we’ll have time to chat about what you’ve been reading and share thoughts on books, sobriety, and everything in between.
The small stuff
Feeling nervous? Don’t worry! We’ll have mixers to help break the ice, and many attendees come alone. This event will be filmed and photographed. By attending, you give permission for your image to be used in content that may be shared online, in marketing materials, press features, and promotional campaigns. This may also include content shared by brand partners or sponsors in connection with the event.
When you purchase a ticket, you’ll also get exclusive access to our Sober Girl Society WhatsApp community – a supportive space to connect, share, and grow with like-minded women on the same journey. The WhatsApp link will be sent to you on the day of the event, so keep an eye on your inbox then.
