Navigating Anxiety in Sobriety [Replay]
A virtual workshop all about navigating anxiety in sobriety with Sarie Taylor.
In this workshop, we’ll cover the following key topics:
-Sarie's own experience of how she was hospitalised with Generalised Anxiety Disorder, Acute Panic Disorder and Depression.
-What actually is anxiety, as this is often misunderstood.
-How we can completely transform our experience of anxiety with more awareness and understanding.
-How Sarie now realises she was innocently over complicating her mental health and that she was always OK she just couldn’t see it.
-Habits we create to avoid discomfort and how we get more comfortable with the discomfort and change those habits.
About Sarie
Sarie Taylor, founder of Worldwide Well-Being found herself very unexpectedly going from studying at university and travelling the world, to being unable to leave the house, ultimately ending up being hospitalised with generalised anxiety disorder, panic disorder as well as depression. I leaving hospital after a month in her early 20s, heavily medicated, feeling institutionalised, and still had no idea how she ended up in that position, and more importantly, how she would ever go back to living my life the way she expected and hoped.
Sarie began many, many years of personal therapy, (many different types!) as well as training to become a TA Psychotherapist. Sarie was not short on training certificates, and personal therapy hours, and yet even after so much hard work to fix herself and find relief from anxiety, she would still burn out at least every 18 months. Fast forward many years and aged 46 with two amazing children, celebrity therapist, coach and founder of worldwide wellbeing ltd, Sarie no longer has any of the diagnosis and also gets to hep and support others to find the same peace of mindfulness! In this session Sarie will talk about how she was able to transform her relationship with anxiety and answer any of your questions that you may have!
