A workshop replay with EMDR therapist Maria Gladych  all about exploring the concept of the Window of Tolerance and how it relates to stress, emotional overwhelm, urges and sobriety. You’ll gain a clearer understanding of what’s happening in your body and mind  and why alcohol may once have felt like it helped. This session is educational, compassionate and grounded in nervous system science. It offers space for reflection, self-understanding and real-life application, without shame or judgement.

In this workshop, we will explore:

- What the Window of Tolerance is and how it shows up in your day-to-day life

- Why alcohol can act as a form of nervous system regulation

- How stress, emotions, and urges can push us outside our window

- A simple, EMDR-informed, body-based tool to support regulation without alcohol
