Join us for a cosy evening of creativity, connection and self-expression at our Zine Making Workshop 💖
A zine (pronounced “zeen”) is a small, self-published magazine that’s often used as a creative space to share ideas, stories, feelings and personal expression. In this workshop, you’ll learn how to create your own mini zine from a single piece of paper before getting stuck into a relaxing evening of cutting, sticking and creating.
Your gorgeous host Daisy will guide you through the process, sharing inspiration, creative prompts and simple techniques to help you get started.
In this workshop you’ll explore:
- What zines are and why they’re such a powerful tool for self-expression
- How to fold and create your own mini zine from one piece of paper
- Creative collage techniques using magazines, stickers and crafty materials
- How to use prompts and inspiration when you’re not sure where to start
- Sharing your creations in a relaxed end-of-session show and tell
Everything you need will be provided, including paper, magazines, stickers, scissors, glue and all the crafty bits you’ll need to create your zine 💕
You’re welcome to bring along any personal materials you’d like to include, such as an old magazine, photos or anything that inspires you but there’s absolutely no pressure and nothing extra is needed.
