What: A New Year’s Day Special! Start your year with connection, reflection, and a little bit of calm. Join us for a relaxed group Zoom call where you can share, reset, and set gentle intentions for the year ahead, all facilitated by an experienced alcohol-free coach. Whether you’ve been sober for years or are just starting to rethink your relationship with alcohol, this is a safe, supportive space for honest conversation, celebrating your wins, and acknowledging what’s been hard. Let’s step into the new year together, grounded, grateful, and connected. 💫

We understand that joining a group setting can feel intimidating, so here’s what to expect: 

  • There’s no pressure to speak if you’d prefer to just sit back and listen. 
  • You’re welcome to keep your camera off if that makes you feel more comfortable - especially if you’re feeling a bit shy. 
  • That said, we do recommend keeping your camera on to make the most of the experience and help foster a stronger sense of connection with the group. 

This is a judgment-free, supportive environment where you can engage at your own pace. Whether you're here to share or simply to soak in the positive vibes, we’d love to have you join us for these inspiring and uplifting sessions! 

When: Thursday 1st January

Time: 10am- 11am UK Time

Where: Zoom (You will be sent the Zoom link when you have purchased your ticket.)

About Laurie:

Laurie McAllister: Laurie is 8 years alcohol-free, after stopping drinking at 25. She’s a trained sober coach, founder of the blog Girl & Tonic and works full time in marketing. PA to a miniature dachshund Margot and a keen yogi, Laurie brings “big sister energy” to calls and is here to support the SGS community in their sober and sober curious journeys.

Please note Sober Club is peer-support led and whilst our host has brief intervention and onward referral training, this is not a substitute for professional or medical help.
